LISMORE

Lismore, part of the Bundjalung Nation, was originally covered with Big Scrub Rainforest. Its strategic position on the Wilsons River saw the town prosper through cedar logging and dairying, making it home to the greatest concentration of historic buildings in the area.

LISMORE REGIONAL GALLERY

Respecting its latent character, as much of Lismore High’s dilapidated ‘C-Block’ was retained as possible to create the new Lismore Regional Gallery.
