BROOKLET STUDIO

A brand new state of the art recording studio located in the Byron Hinterland, Brooklet Studio is home to esteemed local musician Bernard Fanning and acclaimed producer Nick Didia. 

The design was contextually driven and influenced by the vernacular agricultural structures synonymous with the local area. This is especially evident in the use of blackbutt timber cladding and the buildings restrained form which allow it to sit quietly and unobtrusively within the natural environment. The main space of the recording studio is located centrally with expansive views out across the valley and is home to a vast range of vintage and cutting edge digital recording equipment and sound booths. Ancillary spaces such as a kitchen and bathrooms are located at either end and an expansive deck runs along the western facade to capture the sunset.
